Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Sprinkle in the flour and whisk to combine, cooking for about 1 minute until bubbly.
- Slowly add the beer while continuing to whisk until the mixture is smooth.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- Add the Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Serve warm with pretzels or tortilla chips.
Notes
