A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring broccolini and zesty lemon.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or any preferred type)
- 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccolini to the pot. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the cooked pasta and broccolini to the skillet. Toss to combine and let all the flavors mingle.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the pasta and add lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired, and enjoy each delightful bite of your creation!
Notes
Add red pepper flakes for heat, and feel free to substitute broccolini with asparagus or spinach.
