- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Mix in the tomato sauce and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Combine with the heavy cream, stirring until well combined.
- Time to toss the pasta in the sauce, adding the grated Parmesan cheese and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes and serve hot garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of water or additional cream.
