Description

A simple yet flavorful orange chicken dish, combining sweetness and tang from orange marmalade, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • ½ cup orange marmalade
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Whisk together the orange marmalade, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or a splash of ginger for depth. Fresh herbs like green onions or cilantro make a lovely garnish.
