Description

A quick and easy vanilla buttercream frosting perfect for cakes and cupcakes, bringing sweet joy to your baking adventures.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 24 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar while mixing until well combined.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk.
  4. Beat on high speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. If too thick, add more cream or milk, one tablespoon at a time, to reach desired consistency.

Notes

Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Taste as you go and adjust sweetness if necessary.
