Description

Irresistible snack combining cream cheese with spiced sausage, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage (breakfast sausage or Italian sausage)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped green onions or herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage and cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until incorporated.
  4. Scoop out tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.
  5. Place the sausage balls on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy, adding chopped green onions or herbs if desired.
