- 1 pound sausage (breakfast sausage or Italian sausage)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped green onions or herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage and cream cheese until well blended.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until incorporated.
- Scoop out tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.
- Place the sausage balls on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy, adding chopped green onions or herbs if desired.
