Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Combine the peeled and diced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Whisk together the flour, brown sugar, oats, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then cut in the softened butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the crumbly mixture into the greased pan to create a sturdy crust.
  5. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumbly mixture generously over the apples.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Cool the pan before slicing into bars and serving.
