Description

A delightful fusion of Asian flavors and Italian comfort in the form of layered lasagna with wonton wrappers, ground meat, and cheese.

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Ground pork or chicken
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, grated
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Cabbage, shredded
  • Cheese (mozzarella or cream cheese)
  • Chicken broth
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green onions, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add ground pork or chicken to the skillet and cook thoroughly. Stir in shredded cabbage, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook until cabbage softens.
  4. Layer wonton wrappers in a baking dish, followed by the meat mixture and cheese. Repeat the layering process.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the final layer.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
