Description

A decadent appetizer combining rich brie cheese with tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Brie Wheel
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce (whole berry preferred)
  • Zest from 1/2 an Orange
  • 1 Fresh Rosemary Sprig (optional, for garnish)
  • Crackers or Sliced Baguette (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the cranberry sauce and the zest from half an orange in a small bowl.
  4. Place the brie wheel on the baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the cranberry mixture generously over the top of the brie.
  6. Add the fresh rosemary sprig on top if using.
  7. Bake in your preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Transfer the brie to a serving plate and serve warm alongside crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

This dish can be prepared in advance by mixing the cranberry sauce and orange zest ahead of time. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
