Description

A delightful and easy-to-make baked fish dish with a crispy herb crust that adds vibrant flavors to your meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Fish Fillets (about 6 ounces each) of firm white fish like cod, haddock, snapper, or tilapia
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Chives, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, dried oregano or thyme, garlic powder, or onion powder for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly with olive oil.
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  3. Combine panko breadcrumbs, parsley, dill, chives, garlic, lemon zest, Parmesan (if desired), and olive oil in a bowl. Mix until moistened.
  4. Place the seasoned fish on the baking sheet and evenly distribute the herb crust mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked fillets.
  7. Let the fish rest for a minute before serving and enjoy while hot and crispy!

Notes

For an added kick, feel free to sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top. This dish pairs well with a light salad or roasted vegetables.
