Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced (optional)
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart, and brown thoroughly for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper and optional jalapeño, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper, mixing until well combined.
  6. Serve the beef mixture over the fluffy cooked rice, optionally garnished with cilantro or green onions.
