Description

A delightful blueberry cobbler with a buttery, cake-like top layer and juicy bursts of blueberries. Perfect for warm summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until well combined. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Evenly distribute the blueberries over the batter.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For best results, use fresh blueberries; if using frozen, add them directly without thawing.
