Description

A heartwarming one-pan meal featuring ground beef and vibrant green cabbage, perfect for cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, making sure it shimmers as it warms up.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3–5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Brown until fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Continue to cook until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally, about another 5–7 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, enjoying straight from the skillet or plated with fresh herbs.

Notes

For a heartier meal, serve with mashed potatoes or rice. Leftovers can be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
