Description

A comforting dish featuring Cajun seasoned steak bites paired with creamy, cheesy garlic pasta shells.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups pasta shells
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the steak pieces with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add the steak bites, and cook until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add water and bring it to a boil. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions.
  4. Drain the pasta and return it to the skillet. Add minced garlic, heavy cream, and cheese to the pasta, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the steak bites to the skillet, mix well, and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Customize the cheese mix or add veggies for extra nutrition. Use a meat thermometer to check steak doneness.
