A comforting and delicious pasta bake that combines sweetcorn and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners.

- 300g pasta
- 1 cup sweetcorn (canned or frozen)
- 2 cups cheese (grated, such as cheddar)
- 1 cup cream or milk
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- Breadcrumbs for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a pan until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sweetcorn, sautéed onion and garlic, cream, and half of the cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This dish pairs well with a fresh salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
