Description

Irresistibly comforting warm, cheesy garlic knots filled with gooey mozzarella.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  3. Place a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese at one end of each strip.
  4. Fold the other end over the cheese, sealing it inside.
  5. Roll each strip into a knot shape and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Mix together melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a bowl.
  7. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

These garlic knots pair beautifully with marinara sauce and Italian dishes. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
