Description

A comforting and creamy casserole featuring chicken, pasta, and a rich Alfredo sauce, topped with melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, steamed broccoli (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the chicken mixture, and mix well to coat everything evenly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving to add a pop of freshness.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dish also freezes well for up to 3 months.
