- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Prepare the chicken by pounding it to an even thickness and seasoning it.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken in the dish and scatter broccoli around it.
- Whisk together cream of chicken soup and milk, then stir in 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
- Top with the remaining cheese and optionally with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is golden.
- Serve hot after letting it rest for 5-10 minutes.
