Description

A comforting blend of tender chicken and crisp broccoli enveloped in a rich, cheesy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the chicken by pounding it to an even thickness and seasoning it.
  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken in the dish and scatter broccoli around it.
  4. Whisk together cream of chicken soup and milk, then stir in 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese and optionally with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is golden.
  8. Serve hot after letting it rest for 5-10 minutes.
