Description

A playful twist on traditional pho, this Cheesy Fried Pho combines melted mozzarella with tender beef and chewy pho noodles for a comforting experience.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pho noodles
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked beef, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pho Noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Stir-Fry the cooked beef in the skillet until heated through.
  5. Combine the cooked pho noodles with the beef and mix to combine the flavors.
  6. Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Melt the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and cover the skillet until melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra nutrition, consider adding in bell peppers or bean sprouts. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
