Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the rice, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of water or add more cheese for moisture.
