Description

A quick and wholesome Chicken and Chinese Cabbage Stir-Fry featuring vibrant flavors and textures, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 cups Chinese cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Pan with Sesame Oil: Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the Chicken: Add the sliced chicken to the pan and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Aromatics Time: Stir in the minced garlic and ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the Vegetables and Sauces: Toss in the chopped Chinese cabbage, soy sauce, and oyster sauce; stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Season with Care: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

Substitute oyster sauce with more soy sauce mixed with sugar for a different flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
