- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the beef in a large bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for about 15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef, and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil and minced garlic to the pan, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir-fry the broccoli florets for about 2-3 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan, pour in the beef broth, and stir everything together. Cook for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot over cooked rice.
