Description

A comforting dish featuring tender marinated beef and vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a large bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef, and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining oil and minced garlic to the pan, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir-fry the broccoli florets for about 2-3 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan, pour in the beef broth, and stir everything together. Cook for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Serve with fluffy jasmine rice, steamed dumplings, or a cucumber salad for a refreshing side.
