Description
A delicious and comforting Philly Cheesesteak sandwich made with sizzling beef, caramelized onions, and gooey provolone cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 slices of provolone cheese (or cheese of choice)
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cook sliced beef in a separate pan over medium-high heat until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Combine the beef with the sautéed onions in the skillet.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Split the hoagie rolls and fill each with the beef and onion mixture.
- Top each sandwich with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are toasted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the beef slices before cooking. You can also use different cheeses or add spicy peppers for a kick.
