Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
