Description
A delightful fusion of creamy pasta and spicy gochujang, combined with tender prawns for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g pasta of your choice
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the prawns to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the gochujang and heavy cream, mixing well. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, ensuring all pasta is coated with that delicious creamy mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.
- Serve garnished with chopped green onions for a pop of freshness and color.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of soy sauce or sesame oil to the sauce. Keep a close eye on the prawns as they can overcook quickly.
