Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
- Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add the pepper jack cheese, stirring constantly until melted into a creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Reheat for another 2 minutes if necessary.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half and use less cheese. Add spinach or kale for extra greens.
