Description

Delightful crispy bites filled with creamy cheese, perfect for parties or movie nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into small balls.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  4. Roll each cheese ball in flour, then dip it in beaten egg, and roll it in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat enough oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Carefully place the coated cheese balls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove the bites with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

Chill the cheese balls for about 30 minutes before frying to prevent leaking. For a spicy twist, add diced jalapeños.
