Ingredients

- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into small balls.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
- Roll each cheese ball in flour, then dip it in beaten egg, and roll it in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat enough oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the coated cheese balls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the bites with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Notes
Chill the cheese balls for about 30 minutes before frying to prevent leaking. For a spicy twist, add diced jalapeños.
