Description

Deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these roasted sweet potato wedges are the perfect comforting side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into wedges.
  3. Toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crunch, soak the wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before tossing with oil and spices. You can also experiment with different spices for variation.
