- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cream the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the date molasses and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
