- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate it into triangles.
- Take a spoonful of the cheese mixture and place it on the wider end of each triangle.
- Gently roll the dough from the wide end to the point, creating a twist.
- Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg with water, then brush this mixture over the tops of the twists.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with ranch or salsa for dipping. Adjust jalapeño amount based on spice preference. Twists freeze well for later baking.
