Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and Earl Grey tea leaves in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Chill the dough by rolling it into a log, wrapping in plastic wrap, and refrigerating for about 30 minutes.
- Slice the chilled dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve with a steaming cup of tea or coffee.
Notes
