- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet, and stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch. Pour the mixture over the steak and vegetables, stirring to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Slice the flank steak against the grain for maximum tenderness. Use pre-sliced beef for convenience.
