Description

A comforting and indulgent garlic bread topped with melted cheese, perfect for gatherings and pairing with various dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the buttered bread.
  6. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes. Substitute fresh parsley with dried if necessary.
