- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the buttered bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes. Substitute fresh parsley with dried if necessary.
