Description

Delicious pinwheels made with creamy cheese and fresh spinach wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 sheets puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and fresh spinach.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread a generous portion of the spinach and cheese mixture onto each puff pastry sheet.
  5. Roll the pastry sheet tightly into a log shape.
  6. Slice the rolled log into 1-inch pinwheels.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen unbaked and baked later.
