Description

A delightful dish featuring crispy garlic and Parmesan-coated fish fillets, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Set up a dredging station with bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and the breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Pat the fish fillets dry, then dredge each in flour, dip in egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
  5. Fry the fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain the fried fillets on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with lemon wedges and garnish with extra parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For reheating, pop them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
