- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce, tossing gently to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For optimal flavor, do not overcook the shrimp. Fresh lemon juice and zest are recommended for best results.
