Description

A quick and satisfying pasta dish featuring shrimp in a creamy lemon garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For optimal flavor, do not overcook the shrimp. Fresh lemon juice and zest are recommended for best results.
