Description

A quick and delicious dish featuring boneless chicken breasts coated in a crunchy, cheesy Parmesan crust.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then into the cheesy breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil or cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet.
