- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl until smooth.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then into the cheesy breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking sheet.
