Delightful and comforting Easy Stuffed Shells filled with creamy cheese and baked in rich marinara sauce.
Ingredients

- 12 Jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (basil, parsley), chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; then drain and let them cool.
- Mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture, filling them generously.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed shells on top of the sauce in the baking dish.
- Cover the stuffed shells with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Customize the filling with your favorite vegetables or proteins. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
