Description

A flavorful and healthy salmon dish with a sweet and tangy tamarind honey glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup tamarind paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the tamarind paste, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Pairs well with jasmine rice, steamed broccoli, or salads. Can store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
