Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a skillet until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the shrimp, sautéed vegetables, heavy cream, cheese, eggs, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the shrimp mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is a lovely golden brown.
  6. Cool for a few minutes and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure your shrimp are good quality for the best flavor. Don’t overcook the shrimp; they should just turn pink as they bake.
