Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onions in a large skillet with melted butter over medium heat, cooking until caramelized (about 10-15 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and let cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the heavy cream and let cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the grated Gruyère cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
