Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the milk, maple syrup (or honey), nut butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. If using, fold in chocolate chips gently.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
