- 1 loaf of bread
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), filling your kitchen with anticipation.
- Sauté the ground beef in olive oil over medium heat until browned.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Carefully hollow out the loaf of bread.
- Spoon the beef and cheese mixture into the hollowed-out bread.
- Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Unwrap the loaf and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use day-old bread for the best texture. Feel free to mix up the cheeses or add veggies.
