- 2 cups baby potatoes (halved)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme, for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the baby potatoes until fork-tender, then drain and set aside.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet.
- Sear the steak bites for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the remaining butter until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked potatoes to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using ribeye or sirloin steak. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
