Description

Juicy steak bites combined with tender baby potatoes, bathed in rich garlic butter, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (your choice, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups baby potatoes (halved)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the baby potatoes until fork-tender, then drain and set aside.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet.
  4. Sear the steak bites for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Sauté the minced garlic in the remaining butter until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  7. Add the cooked potatoes to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter.
  8. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using ribeye or sirloin steak. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
