Description

A delightful tart featuring creamy goat’s cheese, sweet roasted red peppers, and aromatic fennel, all nestled in a flaky puff pastry crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 200g goat’s cheese, crumbled
  • 1 bulb of fennel, thinly sliced
  • 2 roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 200ml cream
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or basil) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and carefully place it into a tart pan.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and cream until well blended.
  4. Arrange the thinly sliced fennel and roasted red peppers evenly on the pastry.
  5. Carefully pour the egg and cream mixture over the arranged vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled goat’s cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tart is perfectly set.
  8. Let the tart cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.
