Description
Delightful muffins blending the flavors of garlic and rosemary, perfect for any meal or as a standalone snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray, ensuring that each cup is ready to hold those beautiful muffins.
- Combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Allow this mixture to sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Bring together the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Create a well in the center of the mixture.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the well, along with the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Stir until the dough starts to form.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into muffin tin cups, filling each about halfway. Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top and let them rise for 20-30 minutes.
- Place them in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Allow the muffins to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make sure your water is warm (not hot) when activating the yeast. For extra flavor, consider adding grated Parmesan cheese to the dough.
