Description

Juicy and flavorful Greek chicken meatballs, perfect for a comforting meal with Mediterranean flair.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped oregano, salt, black pepper, egg, and crumbled feta cheese.
  2. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Add the meatballs in batches to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 10-12 minutes.
  6. Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve warm, accompanied by tzatziki sauce for dipping.

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Experiment with different herbs or add chopped vegetables for extra nutrition.
