- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed until well blended. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Allow it to set for about 5 minutes.
- Once the cake is cool, spread the pudding mixture over the top.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the whipped topping, crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, and nuts. Spread this mixture evenly over the pudding layer.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
