Description

A delightful dish combining crispy shrimp with a sweet honey-mayo sauce and crunchy toasted walnuts, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for frying
  • 2 cups cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a pan, lightly toast the walnuts until golden and fragrant.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  4. Toss the shrimp with corn starch.
  5. Carefully add the shrimp to the oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain the shrimp on a paper towel.
  7. Toss the shrimp with the honey-mayo sauce and toasted walnuts until well coated.
  8. Serve over a bed of fluffy white rice.

Notes

Ensure not to overcrowd the pan when frying shrimp to maintain crispy texture. Adjust sweetness of sauce to personal preference.
