Description

A rich and gooey molten chocolate cake that transforms any evening into a celebration of indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the chocolate chips and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the skillet.
  8. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, and optionally pair with fresh berries or raspberry sauce.
